Raw Banana Fritters
It can be made instantly and served hot.
1. Raw Banana – 4 nos.
2. Green Gram (mung bean) – 200 gms soaked in water for 4-5 hrs
3. Split Bengal Gram (Chana dal) – 100gms soaked in water for 4-5 hrs
4. Garlic – 8-10 pcs
5. Green Chilli – 4 nos
6. Coriander – 100 gms
7. Garam Masala – 1 Tea spoon
8. Chat Masala – 1 Tea spoon
9. Refined Oil for cooking
10. Salt to taste.
Start with boiling the banana for a minute and peal the banana rind. Cut them into long pieces. Now make a paste of soaked green gram, split Bengal gram (Chana dal), green chilli and garlic. Pour the paste in a bowl and add salt to taste, garam masala and coriander. Make the paste ready for fritters. it should be a bit thick to be rapped on the raw banana. Heat the pan and pour oil. Now put the banana pieces in the thick paste, cover the banana pieces with the paste and fry in the hot oil.
We are ready with the Diwali Snack . Serve it with tomato/ chilli / mustard sauce
